The Bud Norman Memorial Sports Complex to Re-Open on April 24, 2025

Farmington, Missouri (April 17, 2025) –The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite the public to a ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 4:30PM as we celebrate the re-opening of the Bud Norman Memorial Sports Complex.

The complex, located at 1100 Sainte Genevieve Avenue in Farmington, was closed in October 2024 when renovations began. The renovations included a new concession stand, bathrooms, signage, backstops, fencing, dugouts and equipment.

Farmington Parks and Recreation Director, Lainie Gault, stated, “We are excited to welcome the community back to the Bud Norman Sports Complex. The renovations to the facility are going to make for a great experience for players and fans.”

The facility is open to the public from dawn to 11:00pm daily, when games and practices are not scheduled. The first scheduled event at the complex is the 7 In the Spring USSSA Fastpitch Tournament beginning on April 25, 2025. This event is open to the public and spectators are welcome to attend.
