Farmington, Missouri (May 22, 2025) – The Farmington Community Civic Center will begin work on the second phase of renovations later this month. Plans are in place to start renovations of the natatorium. The natatorium, which includes the indoor lap pool and play pool, will be closed beginning on May 30, 2025. Some indoor pool activities will be moved to the outdoor pool through early August. This includes lap swim, water aerobics, and swimming lessons. River walking will also be an added activity this summer. River walking offers a fun, low-impact workout using the lazy river’s natural resistance to enhance your walk. Farmington Parks and Recreation Director, Lainie Gault, said, “We are making the most of the outdoor pool this summer while renovations are being completed indoors. This includes using the morning and evening hours to fit in activities our guests are used to.
