Farmington, Missouri (January 15, 2025) – The City of Farmington has had an increase in yard waste disposal at the Farmington Yard Waste Site, located at 3875 Pimville Road, since the recent winter storm. Anyone wishing to use the site must follow the guidelines provided below. All City of Farmington residents may use the yard waste site to dispose of limbs and yard waste at their convenience. The gates are open from 7:00AM to 7:00PM daily. The yard waste site is for use by residents living inside the city limits of Farmington only. Commercial disposal is only permitted by contractors that are working for a City of Farmington resident. Waste from outside locations may not be disposed of at the site. Contractors must have the name, address, and phone number of the property owner they are working for upon arrival at the site. All tree trimmers must be licensed in the City of Farmington and have their license on hand upon arrival. Anyone who is not a City of Farmington resident, but assisting someone who is, must also have the name, address, and phone number of the property owner they are assisting upon arrival at the site. An on-site staff member will be making calls to the property owner to verify the information. Security cameras are also on-site and regularly monitored by the Farmington Police Department. The City of Farmington would like to thank residents for their quick response to storm cleanup, and for utilizing contractors that have assisted in keeping the right-of-way clear.
