Jonathan Borchers stepped into the role of OZT District Chair three years ago during an incredibly challenging time. The Council was undergoing restructuring, dealing with a lawsuit, and facing the global pandemic known as COVID-19. Despite these obstacles, Jonathan remained steadfast, dedicating far more than the typical 'hour a week' to ensure that our district not only survived but thrived.
His leadership, commitment, and unwavering support have been instrumental in holding our district together through some of its most difficult periods. Jonathan’s vision and dedication have driven us forward, ensuring we continued to serve our Scouts and Scouters while adapting to the ever-changing circumstances. His hard work has provided the foundation for progress, and the district is in a stronger position today because of his efforts.
Jonathan, your contributions and perseverance through such trying times have been truly remarkable. It is with great appreciation and gratitude that we honor you tonight for your outstanding leadership and tireless service
